Heart To Heart Audition Notice

Shine on Stage at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre (BPAC) & West Plains United Church! Auditions Open for Heart to Heart Variety Show. Are you a performer with a passion that lights up the stage? Do you have a talent you’re eager to share with an audience? We’re excited to announce an open call for performers for our upcoming show, Heart to Heart: A Variety Show Celebrating Passions.

Our inaugural show takes place on two incredible stages:

• February 12 & 13, 2026 - Co-produced with the Burlington Performing Arts Centre (BPAC) - 440 Locust St, Burlington, ON L7S 1T7
• February 14, 2026 - West Plains United Church - 549 Plains Road West, Burlington, ON L7T 1H1

About the Show
"Heart to Heart" aims to celebrate the diverse passions that drive and inspire us. Generally, this show will be a lighthearted look at ‘love’:

Sample Topics: 

• Family (Parents, child, siblings, pets, etc.) 
• Couples/Romance 
• Hobbies (Sports, music, arts, activities) 
• Other (Foods, Places, Job/Profession, etc)

Sample Performer Types:

• Musicians
• Visual Artists 
• Singers
• Theatre Performers 
• Dancers
• Storytellers 
• Comedians
• Puppeteers 
• Poets
• Improv 
• Magicians 

Group or individual acts are welcome. Please note this is a non-paying, non-equity opportunity.

Audition Details:
To schedule an audition time, please send an email to aofproductionscan@gmail.comwith your name, group name (if applicable), contact information (email address is required, plus cell phone number if desired), and a brief description of your act. Audition slots can be booked on one of the following dates: 

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19th, 1:00 - 5:00 PM
 
Rehearsals and Performances:

• Thurs. Feb. 12, 2026: afternoon rehearsal and evening performance – location: BPAC
• Fri., Feb.13, 2026: evening performance – location: BPAC
• Sat., Feb. 14, 2026: morning rehearsal and afternoon performance – location: West Plains

An additional tech rehearsal will be scheduled at BPAC before Feb. 12. Any other rehearsals are self-directed. Please come to run-throughs fully prepared.
